Each year we depend on our local businesses to help with donations of merchandise and contributions which help with the purchase of items for the door prizes, adult and kids raffles that are held during the day. We have several national fishing tackle companies who donate merchandise that is also used for the prizes and goody bags. The cooperation of these entities has made this annual event a big success for the last 31 years.
We have had wonderful support from the local community, Village of Andover, Town of Andover and community service organizations across the Southern Tier of New York State and Northern Pennsylvania in donation of services and participation in the event.
This event provides several benefits such as a day of fun with friends and family, lessons in environmental conservation and allows the participants to learn the techniques of fishing while sharing the companionship of kids from other communities.
We are a non-profit organization with a group of volunteers who help promote the sport of fishing to the youth of the area and try to show them the joys of the outdoors and the wonders that nature provides.
If you would like to send us a message or if you have any questions about our event please send it to: kidsfishing33@gmail.com We'll get back to you shortly.
